You can browse our online services anonymously. However, if you would like to take advantage of our services, you will need to identify yourself to us and at that point we will collect your personal information.
Collecting personal information
At all times we try to only collect the information we need for the particular service we are providing. This may include your name, addresses, phone number, email, work information, occupation, device and connection information and Hospitality Vault username and password.
The main way we collect personal information about you is when you give it to us, for example:
- when you contact us
- when you create a profile in Hospitality Vault
- when you submit or accept a booking through our online services
- when you ask for access to information we hold about you
You agree that, for compliance purposes, we may retain any of your personal information for a period of seven years, although we are not obliged to do so.
Social Networking Services and links to other websites
We may provide links to other websites or use social networking services such as Twitter and Facebook to communicate with the public about our work. These sites have their own privacy policies. When you communicate with us using these services we may collect your personal information. We will only use it to help us to communicate with you and the public. The social networking service will also handle your personal information for its own purposes.
Collecting sensitive information
We do not actively collect sensitive information about you, including information about your health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, sexual orientation or criminal history. We will take steps to appropriately protect any sensitive information we do receive.
We use a range of tools provided by third parties including search engine browsers and our web hosting company, to collect or view App, social media or website traffic information. These sites have their own privacy policies. We also may also use pixels, cookies and session tools to improve your experience when accessing our online services.
Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. Some website features may not function properly without cookies.
The information collected by these tools may include the IP address of the device you are using and information about sites that IP address has come from, the pages accessed on our site and the next site visited. We use the information to help to track your use of our online services to improve your user experience and the quality of our services. Security and overseas recipients
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we use respected hosting services, firewall and other electronic security procedures and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect from you. Our internal procedures may include:
- risk assessment of misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure of your information
- background tracking and records of changes made to your personal information
The information that we collect about you is used only for the purpose of providing you with our services. We do not publish your personal information. We provide access to your personal information in accordance with Australian privacy law. We may share your personal information with our professional advisors to obtain advice, or for compliance with our accounting or legal obligations.
None of the information collected via our online services is sent overseas through our services.
Accessing and correcting your personal information
You may request copies of the information we hold about you, which will only be provided electronically. You have the ability to make a request to amend or correct that information. If we do not agree with your requested change, we will keep a copy of your request with our information.
If you have any concerns about our use of your personal information, please contact us and let us know what the problem is. We will respond to your concerns within 30 days.

BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING AND/OR USING THE HOSPITALITY VAULT APP YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Scope of License
You don’t own your copy of the Hospitality Vault App. By downloading the Hospitality Vault App you acquire a licence to use it. You may be required to download different versions of the Hospitality Vault App for different Devices.
Hospitality Vault grants to you a non-transferable license to use the Hospitality Vault App on any mobile phone, tablet, iOS, Android or other device that supports the Hospitality Vault App (“Device”), that you own or control. In respect of Apple Devices, your use is limited to that permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in Section 9.b. of the App Store Terms and Conditions (the “Usage Rules”). This license does not allow you to use the Hospitality Vault App on any Device that you do not own or control. The terms of the license will govern any upgrades provided by Hospitality Vault that replace and/or supplement the original Hospitality Vault App, unless that upgrade is accompanied by a separate license, in which case the terms of that license will govern.
You may not distribute or make the Hospitality Vault App available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time. You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute or sublicense the Hospitality Vault App. You may not copy (except as expressly permitted by this license and the Usage Rules), decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, modify, or create derivative works of the Hospitality Vault App, any updates, or any part thereof (except as and only to the extent any foregoing restriction is prohibited by applicable law or to the extent as may be permitted by the licensing terms governing use of any open sourced components included with the Hospitality Vault App). Any attempt to do so is a violation of the rights of Hospitality Vault. If you breach this restriction, you may be subject to prosecution and damages.
You agree not to use the Services in any manner to harass, abuse, stalk, threaten, defame or otherwise infringe or violate the rights of any other party, and that the Hospitality Vault is not in any way responsible for any such use by you, nor for any harassing, threatening, defamatory, offensive or illegal messages or transmissions that you may receive as a result of using Hospitality Vault.
Hospitality Vault, and its licensors, reserves the right to change, suspend, remove, or disable access to any online services at any time without notice. In no event will the Hospitality Vault be liable for the removal of or disabling of access to our online services. Hospitality Vault may also impose limits on the use of or access to certain online services, in any case and without notice or liability.
This license is effective until terminated by you or Hospitality Vault. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice from the Hospitality Vault if you fail to comply with any term(s) of this license. Upon termination of the license, you must stop using the Hospitality Vault App and destroy all copies, full or partial, of the Hospitality Vault App.
Consent to Use of Data
You agree that Hospitality Vault may collect and use technical data and related information, including but not limited to technical information about your Device, system and application software, and peripherals. This information may be gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support and other services to you (if any) related to the Hospitality Vault App. Hospitality Vault may use this information, as long as it is in a form that does not personally identify you, to improve its products or to provide services or technologies to you.
We may ask you to provide us with your postcode to identify businesses offering roles convenient to you. Location data provided by any online services is for basic navigational purposes only and is not intended to be relied upon in situations where precise location information is needed or where erroneous, inaccurate or incomplete location data may lead to death, personal injury, property or environmental damage. Hospitality Vault does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of location data displayed on its online services.
Hospitality Vault is intended for use by persons over the age of 18 years. You agree to use our online services at your own risk. You agree that Hospitality Vault will not be liable to you for content that may be found to be offensive, indecent, or objectionable.
