What is Hospitality Vault?

Hospitality Vault is the future of sourcing Quality Hospitality Workers & Jobs.Where Business find Awesome Workers. No Job Ads. No Applications.

What Jobs will I find?

Hospitality Vault is connecting Hospitality community. Jobs find workers. Workers are in Control of their availability calendar and per hour rate. 

How will bussiness find me?

Business will find you based your availability, rating, experience, hourly rate & location. 

But Kind of employment will find me?

You can use the Hospitality Vault for what you need, Weekend work, Casual, Part-Time, Full-Time or Night Work.. You are in control.

What fees and charges does Hospitality Vault have?

Totally free for businesses to use.

A booking fee of $4.95 to the Worker, for Each individual & Confirmed Booking. (Per Day)

Why do I need an ABN to be a contractor?

In order to be classified as an independent contractor for tax purposes, you must have an ABN.  This is also required on all tax invoices to your business clients.  

Who will see my Profile?

Only the Businesses can view Team "Members" Profiles & Availability. You can also communicate with the business directly and confidentially through the app once a booking is made.

Note : Team Members / Workers can not see the Businesses Profiles.

I'm looking for full-time work, can I still use Hospitality Vault ?

Hospitality Vault is a platform for connection for Businesses and Hospitality Workers. When you set up your profile, You can use this Platform to source Casual, Part Time or Full Time work.    

What are my Taxation Obligations?

Contractors & Workers have different tax obligations, we Recommend that you contact your Tax Agent or Accountant to seek their advice in this area.

What are my superannuation obligations?

As a contractor, you're running your own business. You need an ABN, or You could be an individual (sole trader), or working in your own company, partnership, or trust. You might even call yourself an independent contractor, sub-contractor. Superannuation is Mandatory In Australia .

It's essential you contact your Tax agent or Accountant for direction on how you should deal with this area of your work.

Do I need to register for GST?

If you earn more than $75,000 as an independent contractor per Annum , you are required to register for GST .

Should contractors be Insured?

It is a condition of use that all business clients have and maintain current and valid workers compensation and public liability insurance policies.  A Contractor / Workers compensation policy is a legal requirement in all States and territories of Australia, and will cover any and all ‘workers’ who perform the duties consistent with the clients business.  Contractors engaged through the Hospitality Vault platform must perform duties consistent with those of the business in order to be covered by the same insurance policy.  It is a condition of use that business clients engage contractors that fall within the bounds of their existing worker’s compensation policy or to ensure that Contractors have adequate coverage.

Do I need to pay superannuation?

We recommend that you speak with your Tax Agent or Accountant for direction in this area.

Should I pay GST?

Most contractors on the Hospitality Vault platform may not be registered for GST.  They need to be earning in excess of $75,000 per year before they need to be registered.  Some contractors are registered for GST and these contractors will provide the GST within their invoice.  The GST component will be set out separately on their invoice. If a GST component is identified, it must be paid.
